Payment processing reporting, defined
Payment processing reporting is the organized record of card transactions, processing fees, refunds, chargebacks and deposits for a period, used to confirm what card acceptance cost a business.
On this Avendo resource, a good report answers three questions without a spreadsheet: how much did we sell by card, how much did processing cost in total, and did every approved sale reach the bank?
A merchant statement is one kind of payment processing report. Platform reports, such as the clearer pricing and processing reports Avendo provides, are another.
